Spring draft

More than 50 young men of military age went to join the army from the assembly place of Defense Department of Almaty.

Men called up for military service were seen off by their relatives, as well as by representatives of Turksib District Akimat, District Defense Department, Turksib District affiliate of Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party. The given event was organized within the frames of Decree of Almaty city Akim of March 30th, 2011 "On organization and carrying out of draft for military service in April - June and October - December 2011".

In his speech war veteran, colonel of border troops of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ilya Vshivkov pointed out that to enlist in the army is a matter of honour for every person and a big responsibility.

Turksib District affiliate of Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party presented memorable gifts to draftees.

According to deputy chief of Defense Department of Almaty Major Omar Aitkazin these young men will go to Eastern Kazakhstan region to join the ranks of signalers.
